Multimodal magnetic resonance imaging at 3 T and challenges for application at ultra-high field
نویسنده
چکیده
Multimodal neuroimaging opens up a unique window of opportunity for the investigation of function and structure of the brain. Each imaging method probes specific physiological processes or tissue structures with characteristic spatial and temporal resolutions, giving a filtered view on one or more brain processes of interest. The combination of different imaging modalities can overcome the limitations of the single techniques, as it allows to extend the coverage of the spatiotemporal domain and to get a more comprehensive view of physical and physiological properties of the brain.

Calculation of total dose and dose equivalent distribution in the treatment of lung cancer using MR-guided carbon therapy
Nowadays, in order to improve the accuracy of treatment in radiation therapy, there are many attempts to use magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) due to the advantages of excellent soft tissue contrast and ultra-fast pulse sequences. On the other hand, carbon-ion radiation therapy is developing rapidly due to the benefits of greater relative biological effectiveness (RBE) and the application in the...
